Web3 Festival Dcentralize Announces Rebrand, Adds New Team Members

UK-based Web3 powered festival Dcentralize will be hosting its first electronic music festival next year and has been very active over the past few months as it builds up its organization and brings on more partners and sponsors. It also recently launched its new brand identity — developed by Web3 focused design agency Muuv Creative — as it increases its public visibility, including by hosting six afterparties in four days at NFT.London earlier this month.

Dcentralize is working to build a complete Web3 music ecosystem, including streaming services, in-person and AR events, an NFT marketplace, and ticketing, as well as a community for fans and artists to connect, learn and engage. It plans to launch its streaming, ticketing, and NFT platforms in the first half of 2023.

Its recent brand announcement also included the news that two women, Dr. Amber Ghaddar and Mariana Brandao, have joined its leadership team. Ghaddar, whose background is in finance and crypto, will serve as Executive Chair and will work to support the organization’s strategic mission along with the rest of the leadership team. Brandao, in turn, brings her previous experience in the entertainment and music industry to the new role of Music & Entertainment Business Development.

In addition, the organization has brought on five new partners and sponsors: Kujira, Riot Labs, Zebu Live, Crypto Weekly Magazine, and Nickel Factory.

“It’s been a busy and exciting few weeks for Decentralize,” said Dcentralize Founder Ian Kerr. “Our feet have hardly touched the ground! We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Dr Amber and Mariana to our 28-strong (and growing) team, and we have no doubt they will provide invaluable experience and knowledge to enable us to achieve our strategic objectives. With our fantastic new branding launched and new sponsors on board, the positive developments for Dcentralize just keep on coming… and we’re only just getting warmed up!”
