Notified Expands Event Cloud To In-Person Events

As event tech was more widely adopted during the pandemic and technology providers continue to adapt their offerings to meet new market demands, platforms are aiming to offer fully “all-in-one” solutions that enable planners to easily manage all aspects of their event portfolio in one place, from virtual to in-person and everything in between.

Providers who were traditionally focused on in-person tech pre-pandemic quickly implemented digital solutions, while virtual solutions like Hopin and Notified (previously Intrado Digital Media) enhanced their ability to support in-person events as well, in large part through the acquisition of other event technology companies.

Notified this week officially expanded its Event Cloud solution to enable event organizers and marketers to manage their in-person events from the platform in addition to virtual and hybrid events. Among the enhancements included with this roll out are additional event management capabilities, event support from Notified’s team for all types of events, mobile app customization.

The new Event Cloud also offers a self-service option for planners and marketers who are looking to set up and execute their events mostly on their own, with the ability to upgrade their tier to add more features and support as needed.

“We know that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to event execution, so Notified’s product strategy has centered on agility and innovation,” said Notified President Ben Chodor in a statement. “Today’s enhancements to Event Cloud give all of our customers added flexibility and a smarter, more efficient and affordable way to run any event at scale.”

“Notified Event Cloud is purpose-built to meet the needs of any professional that is planning an event. Our goal is to enable self-service while also offering the option of full production support for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events,” added Allie Magyar, Notified’s Chief Product Officer. “We believe this is a strong step forward in meeting the rapidly evolving needs of the industry by delivering the world’s most comprehensive, end-to-end event technology.”
