ASM Global Partners With ChargeFUZE to Enhance Mobile Charging Across Its Venues

Having your phone die when you’re trying to find your friends, record an important moment, or connect with other attendees at an event can be incredibly frustrating, and a lack of convenient charging stations is a common compliant among event guests.

Venue management company ASM Global is working to make this issue a thing of the past through its latest long-term partnership with Fuze Technology Inc (chargeFUZE), which will become the Official Charging Provider ASM Global venues. chargeFUZE’s charging network will be installed at ASM Global-managed arenas, stadiums, theaters and convention centers in the US and Europe. Some of the venues already outfitted include U.S. Bank Stadium, Allegiant Stadium, Target Center, and Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center.

Notably, the chargers being offered are portable meaning that attendees will not be stuck plugging in their devices at a fixed charging station. They will be able to rent the chargers while at an enabled venue by scanning a QR code and simply returning them to a chargeFUZE kiosk.

“Innovating the guest experience is at the forefront of everything we do. ChargeFUZE will untether our fans from antiquated charging stations, ensuring they don’t miss any of the action while keeping their devices fully charged,” said ASM Global President and CEO Ron Bension.

This partnership comes on the heels of several other innovative initiatives announced by ASM in recent months, including a DoorDash partnership that enables guests to order food to be delivered to them onsite at events. Such initiatives make the charging infrastructure even more essential as attendees require the use of their mobile devices to take advantage of them.

ChargeFUZE co-founder Ryan Levy added, “As we continue to scale and pioneer the landscape for out-of-home mobile charging, our goal is to become the ubiquitous solution across all experiences. We believe that in today’s digital world, individuals should always be enabled by their devices to experience and share all that’s available.”
