The pandemic opened the world up to the full possibilities of virtual experiences, and in the live entertainment space, they’re still going strong despite the return to in-person events. Latest case in point: AI-powered creator platform Triller has launched a new virtual platform, dubbed the Metaverz, in partnership with global licensing agency Epik, which will host virtual concerts, sporting events, virtual nightclub parties, and more.
Fans will be able to attend events and experiences that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to and will have access to VIP rooms where they can interact with celebrities, influencers, and creators — as well as each other. Programming in the Metaverz kicked off this past weekend with a DJ set featuring Dutch electronic artist Sam Feldt, who performed live from the Amsterdam Dance Event. Other Triller events that fans will be able to engage with on this new platform include Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, Triller Fight Club, and Verzuz.

According to the company, the Metaverz has over $100 million in metaverse investment value across various digital properties and assets. In addition, Triller and Epik plan to partner with leading gaming companies and launch several games within the Metaverz. One of the platform’s main goals is to enable creators to monetize their content and connect directly with brands they want to work with.
