Stagecoach Festival Will Be Livestreamed on YouTube For First Time Ever

Pre-2020, festival and event livestreams were few and far between. More than two years into the pandemic, it’s almost surprising when an event doesn’t include any digital component. In another sign of these post-pandemic times, YouTube has announced that it will be livestreaming Stagecoach this coming weekend for the first time ever via the official Stagecoach YouTube channel.

“This year, YouTube will bring fans across the globe front and center for country music’s biggest festival, Stagecoach, with its exclusive live stream sponsored by Verizon and Toyota,” reads YouTube’s announcement.

YouTube has a long history of livestreaming Coachella, which continued over the past two weekends with YouTube’s “Front Row Coachella” livestream as the festival roared back to life for the first time since the pandemic began. The digital experience this year also included in-stream shopping experiences and exclusive interviews with artists.

YouTube will continue streaming from the Empire Polo Club for the third week in a row for the first-ever Stagecoach livestream, which will run all three days of the festivals from April 29th to May 1st. The stream will include the three headlining acts — Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Combs — and will be hosted by fellow artists BRELAND, Reyna Roberts, and Hailey Whitters, who will also be performing.

In addition to live performances, fans can look forward to artist interviews throughout the weekend as well as four pre-parties exclusively for YouTube Premium members with artists Midland, Brothers Osborne, Carrie Underwood, and Cody Johnson, which will automatically redirect into those artists’ live sets. Other performers whose acts will be livestreamed include Maren Morris, Brandi Carlile, and Orville Peck.

The fun doesn’t stop with the headliners — the festival will once again include Late Night in Palomino sets that will continue late into the night and will be streamed as well. In advance of the festival, fans can get ready by listening to special pre-festival playlists curated by YouTube Music featuring music by the performing artists.
