NFT-powered tickets are one of the many Web3 technologies gaining more and more traction in the live events industry as a more secure and transparent alternative to traditional ticketing models. NFT ticketing company SeatlabNFT is at the forefront of this transformation and has been partnering with events around the world to showcase the capabilities of NFT tickets to enhance festival and event experiences for both organizers and fans.
The company recently announced its latest partnership with Barcelona-based festival organizer elrow, which will be leveraging SeatlabNFT’s software for its upcoming elrow XXL festival in Dubai, taking place in February 2023.
Elrow will be selling VIP tickets to the festival as NFTs, which will be available starting tomorrow, November 2nd. VIP NFT holders will have access to exclusive experiences and interactive elements at the festival. SeatlabNFT will also distribute unique NFT collectibles and airdrop other rewards to event VIPs.
“This partnership is a perfect fit for both ourselves and elrow as we share the same desire to enhance the immersive nature of live events and increase the feeling of being part of something special,” said SeatlabNFT CEO Ryan Kenny. “By issuing VIP tickets as NFTs, we can interact with ticket holders’ wallets directly via airdrops and other on-site interactive elements. We’re excited to show guests what’s possible with our next-generation ticketing technology.”
In addition, SeatlabNFT will be organizing a blockchain installation at the festival that fans will be able to interact with via the SeatlabNFT app as another way to expose as many fans as possible to Web3 capabilities and put the technology front and center. Fans will be able to claim POAP NFTs as well as other rewards.
