Splash Launches New Splash Studio Feature for Event Marketers

Over the past several months, event tech platforms have been working to make virtual and hybrid event production as easy and seamless as possible for organizers. These efforts have included the release of DIY-style production features that allow users to control their own broadcasts and easily create high-quality livestreams without the need for external production teams.

Event marketing technology company Splash has just announced its own new offering to help event marketers and planners more easily design and execute virtual, in-person, and hybrid events. The product, called Splash Studio, will essentially expand Splash’s event marketing products into a more robust virtual event platform.

Organizers will be able to design and build their events directly within Splash Studio and will have access to Splash’s event marketing features. They will also have the option to set up virtual and hybrid events using third-party streaming services and engagement tools if they prefer, rather than utilizing Splash Studio’s native tools.

Splash CEO Eric Holmen emphasizes the company’s stance on hybrid events and the role this new offering will play in the next phase of events: "We've been saying this for a while now: As much as we want in-person events to return permanently — and they will — virtual and hybrid events are here to stay," he said in a statement. "Splash Studio supports our customers' needs in a constantly changing events landscape by helping to deliver engaging virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences that make a business impact."

Beyond the native live streaming functionality, Splash Studio includes basic engagement tools such as Q&A, chat, and polling, as well as networking hubs, on-demand content, and content sharing capabilities. Users will also have access to data analytics with the ability to sync to their existing CRMs.

Splash Studio is available in various tiers, including Studio+ and Studio Custom, that planners can select based on their event needs. In addition, Splash’s event marketing platform will be getting new integrations very soon to further streamline the planning and marketing process, and a new sessions feature that allows for multi-track events will bring the product more in line with competing event tech platforms.
