MeetingPlay + Aventri + eventcore Reveals Company Rebranding, Becomes Stova

A full company rebrand has been expected for event tech leaders MeetingPlay and Aventri since they announced their merger back in January and started temporarily going by MeetingPlay + Aventri. They subsequently acquired event registration platform eventcore in June, and, at IMEX America this week, they finally revealed the new name that encompasses all three companies in their new packaging: Stova.

The name is derived from the phrase standing ovation, which the company notes is a testament to the value it delivers for its customers. The three companies under one roof will aim to provide end-to-end event management capabilities for clients organizing all different types of events. Stova offers in-person event solutions, virtual technology, mobile apps, and everything in between — which will be increasingly important for event tech providers looking to support clients’ new event ecosystems post-pandemic.

Stova also accommodates different budgets by offering both bespoke and off-the-shelf services. Aventri and MeetingPlay were both big players in the event tech space and had solid event offerings before the merger, so we can expect Stova to continue to deliver innovative solutions for events moving forward, particularly with team members from both companies, plus eventcore, joining forces.

“For over a decade, our three unique brands have offered innovative products and technologies to help brands deliver highly impactful events,” said Stova CEO Eric Lochner. “We have immense pride in the consolidated entity we have created, and we’ve only just begun.

“We are deeply connected to our clients’ event landscape and will continue to invest in and build event technology solutions that consistently meet our clients’ changing needs to deliver epic events, every time. We’re excited to unveil an updated corporate name and branding that more accurately reflect the company we’ve become, a true one-stop-shop for our clients’ event technology needs.”
